We are proud to announce that Bread & Pickles are now a foodbank for Tarwin Valley Primary School,
and we would like to give people the opportunity to support local families in need.
How does it work?
You can choose a meal or donate any amount to our online shop, or instore. If you choose to financially contribute, we keep a record of contributed money and put it towards the cost of purchasing and preparing filling and nutritious meals for identified families of TVPS.
We take all forms of payment (I.E Cash, EFTPOS, PayPal, internet transfer) and we are happy to issue you with a tax receipt for your contribution.
Who decides who gets the food?
The Primary Welfare Officer at Tarwin Valley Primary School. The receiving families remain anonymous, even to management and staff at Bread and Pickles.
What if I want to donate a meal but the family doesn’t attend the primary school?
If you have a family (or person) in mind, Lauren would be happy to talk to you to sort something out.
What can I do to help if this isn’t for me?
You can contact the school and request to be on the mailing list for their cooking roster. The school will advise you when they are looking for volunteers to cook a meal.

Who am I really helping?
This is a win-win! Your money doesn’t go to another state, country or continent. It stays right here, in our community. You’re not only supporting people in need, you’re also supporting a small local business and all its employees, as well as helping to restore a little faith in humanity.
